Project Recognition Well Deserved

Congratulations to David Anhold of Anhold Associates Landscape Architecture. His project at Devils Backbone Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows was selected as a Merit Award winner in the General Design Category by the Virginia American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). This project was a pleasure to work on with David and we look forward to more […]

20 Years of Dedication

The company took a well deserved break after a busy winter and spring which included the historic UVA Rotunda project.  We stopped to say thank you to our senior project manager, a gentleman that’s been with us for 20 years.  Jeff Thompson is a dedicated husband, father, friend, and co-worker.  Thanks for the laughs and the […]

Thank You UVA

The University of Virginia was gracious enough to host a luncheon, on the pavers we layed, to honor all the people that worked so hard to make the Rotunda Restoration such a success. We are grateful to have been able  to work in such a historic space and are so proud of this project. [slideshow] [/slideshow]

Devil’s Backbone Update

[slideshow] [/slideshow] Jeff was able to get some amazing shots of our work at DEVILS BACKBONE BASECAMP BREWPUB & MEADOWS with the  drone!  We’re hoping to capture some more images at the Oyster Roast on May 14th from 12-5pm, see you there.

Our Restoration Is Complete

We’ve just completed the north terrace at the Rotunda. 15,000 square feet of brick pavers, or 67,500 bricks, and 4000 square feet of sandstone. It looks great and we are glad we got it done in time for the 2016 graduating class. We can’t wait to see all the final details. [slideshow] [/slideshow]

Residence Inn Completion

We are pleased to announce the completion of our work at The Residence Inn at the corner of West Main St and Meade Av.  This was a fairly comprehensive project that included landscaping, irrigation, sod, hardscaping, and planters. The parking deck features 7700 sq ft. of Eagle Bay Cottage Stone Pavers.  Adjacent to Main St […]

Rotunda Restoration

Thomas Jefferson is still overseeing this project.  There is a temporary access road to the right that will be removed soon so that we can continue on with installation of the brick quadrants. The sandstone edging has been a challenge to cut in the cold weather so we have been happy for the heat wave. […]

LiveRoof Certified

Windridge Landscaping recently renewed their certification with LiveRoof® system installations.  We’ve been certified since 2013 and this is a trend that we feel passionate about as a company.  The LiveRoof® system is unique in design and function.  It is intended to last indefinitely, grow healthy-sustainable plants, complement the architecture, and function in concert with many roofing […]

The Rotunda

It is with deep respect and intention that we go to work everyday and our diligence has paid off. We are installing a permeable brick terrace at the most historic site we have ever had the privilege of working at.

DEVILS BACKBONE

We’re very excited for everyone to see a really fun project we’ve just wrapped up at DEVILS BACKBONE BASECAMP BREWPUB & MEADOWS!
